Hello, ladies, I`m the Trader Chick. Today we will be learning about stocks.

What is a stock? Stock signifies ownership of a corporation. It also represents a claim of the corporation’s assets and earnings. Did you know that there are two types of stocks you can buy? There is the common stock and there is the preferred stock.

So you want to know what a stock really is. I’ll tell you. I’m reading from a trader chick making investing fun and simple for women.

Ever since I was a little girl, and I bet it went the same for you. What did you enjoy doing most? I had fun dressing up, doing my makeup, beauty products. This is what I enjoyed.

And as I got older, I still love the same stuff. And at one point, I even wanted to own my own beauty line and my own fashion line. But the reality is, it’s a lot of money and it’s a lot of work. And quite frankly, I didn’t love it that much, but I did love it enough to want to be part of it.

And that’s exactly what a stock does when you buy from a company. You get to buy a portion of the company, basically whatever company you love most. Oh, yeah, right. For instance, beauty supplies. Did you know that Procter and Gamble owns Max Factor, CoverGirl Head and Shoulders Army and even owns Dolce G?

It owns a few gold bars. So you can become part of these companies. And on top of that, you get to benefit really well by making passive income. And that’s through dividends. You get to earn a portion of the profits of Procter and Gamble or any other company.

And Procter and Gamble are also one of Warren Buffett’s favorites. I’m not here to sell you for answering Gamble or any other company. I just want to show you what stocks are and what investing is really about. I just come to my bathroom and I look, oh, wow. Check this out. I love this makeup. I love Max Factor.

It makes my eyes just so beautiful and I could actually invest in this company and be a part of it. It’s something that I love, I use and I believe in, and I get to make some dividend on top of my stock growing and earning me money.

That’s what investing is about. It’s about having fun. It’s about earning money from what you love and having your own money work for you in passive ways and in fun ways. And hey, I get to now be part of a beauty company and clothing lines from investing and it doesn’t take a lot of money to do so.
