How to Become the Person You’ve Always Wanted to Be

Reinventing Yourself by Steve Chandler. I’m Marina the Trader Chick Villatoro, and this is my book review. So about two, three years ago, I think maybe now, some three years ago, I hired a life coach, and I’ve never had a life coach before. I definitely needed some serious shift in my way of thinking and the way things have been working in my life.

And when I hired her, I actually had no idea what to expect and what turned out to be. I think I heard her for six months. I don’t remember anymore. Six months period. One of the things that became part of our sessions was I needed to read a book a week.

Right. And so she was the one that ended up giving me the majority of the recommendations because, at this point, I was so new to this whole new personal development world and just even these types of books, right. I mean, I’ve never really read these kinds of books. And this is one of the first books she gave me to read. Steve Chandler now I see, has a ton of books, right?

He has many books, and I’ve read quite a few of them. First of all, his nonchalant, like just in your face, just do it type of attitude is amazing. He’s super easy. Super easy to read. His books could be read within 2 hours, and they are incredibly easy and quick to understand and implement.

Reinventing Yourself by Steve Chandler Review

So what Reinventing Yourself did for me was completely open my mind to something huge. We believe that we humans have certain personalities, right? Like, we’re born with a personality and this is it. It’s not true. So what he talks a lot about is the fact that we create our own personalities.

We create our own persona that we kind of use as a security blanket. Right. We kind of put it in front of us like a security blanket. It’s not real. We invent it.

So what he talks about here is the reinvention of yourself. It’s to get rid of all that crap that you think you should be and become the person that you really are. And he also talks a lot about being a victim. So I’m overall a really strong person, right. I stand in my ideas.

I’m opinionated. I definitely believe it’s myself as a strong person. Right. But reading this book, I realized that even though I do have that strength, I’ve also been playing victims for a really long time in my life. I’d say, probably for the most part of my life, I’ve been playing a victim’s role.

And that was a huge realization. All of a sudden, I’m like, I didn’t even realize that I was a victim. So when you realize this and because obviously, I’ve been playing that role, it became part of my personality. Right. Like, oh, the crap I went through when I was younger.

Oh, my God, I was bullied. I was this. I was that neglected. This was all part of my persona my personality, my victim’s way of looking, and I’m not a victim because I could not be a victim like that stuff happened. It happened.

It’s done. I can now move forward. This book helps me, oh my God, this book totally opened my eyes up to so many things that I didn’t even realize about myself. That alone is a must-read book. This book you will be able to read within 2-3 hours.

I don’t even think you’ll read it. It will take you that long. It’s that well written, it’s that easily formatted, it’s quick, it’s powerful, and it is life-changing. So read it. Read this book.

Get it. I don’t care how, get your hands on it and start to reinvent your own self because a lot of times our personalities our personas are not what we really are. I’m Marina The Trader Chick Villatoro I want to hear your story.
